The Fixator®, patented by Urbaco, is a system whereby a fixed bollard or post becomes removable by hand. With the turn of a key, the bollard may be removed from its lodging, the Fixator® cover placed where the bollard was, creating a smooth surface while clearing the way for traffic or passers-by. The male socket (lower part) may be purchased separately to create removable posts or stands.
